Here's how Crew Near You works.
This website lets you Search for Film and Television Freelance crews with search results based on those who are available now.
All searches are FREE with no LOGIN required. We aim to save you time finding the best Freelance Crews.
The freelancers that have most recently updated their status to available will appear at the top of the list for their position.
You select the job role you are looking for and the area in the country where you want them to work.
(Please be aware that many Freelancers are available to work anywhere in the UK. Please ask them where they are based to ascertain if they will need accommodation provided.)
The search results will show all profiles for the job role you have picked in the area you have chosen. If you get no results you can try picking whole of United Kingdom or another area close to you.
Each profile that comes up will have a status;
Available - They currently are available for work.
Maybe Available - They haven't logged in in the past 7 days so please call to check their availability.
Not Available - they currently have work. Please call them to find out when they are next available.
It may also show you the number of year's experience they have.

Our search results show employers the Freelancers who are AVAILABLE FIRST.
To stay on top you must login regularly and make your profile AVAILABLE.
You sign up, add the details below

Then choose your status
The way our site works is it shows those members who have updated their status to AVAILABLE at the top of search results.
So it's up to you to login regularly when looking for work.
You need to login every 7 days. If you don't your status will become MAYBE AVAILABLE. You might still get calls but your profile will appear below those members who are AVAILABLE.
NOT AVAILABLE - if you have work please make your status not available. It's a good idea to add some information into your bio
For example - I'm currently on such and such a feature film, shooting in Spain. I will next be available for work from 1st August ....
To be a member costs £50.00 per year paid using PAYPAL.
We do not automatically renew. When you login to your page you will see how much time you have left until you need to renew.
A few people have asked us to have more than one job role - currently to do this you would need to create a new profile using a different email address.

The more you update your information and make your profile AVAILABLE - the more chance you have of being selected for work. We do not guarantee to get you work - it's your job to sell yourself well.
